Su-Jin’s ‘Halmoni’ (grandmother, in Korean) is excited for the holiday of Chuseok— one of the biggest holidays of the year in Korea, and often referred to as Korean Thanksgiving.  But this is Halmoni’s first year being away from Korea, and Su-Jin confides in her pals Maddie and Keisha that she’s worried that her grandmother will be missing her friends and family. So, the girls decide to ask Halmoni to teach them how to observe Chuseok and help them host a Chuseok party! Halmoni teaches the girls how to cook traditional foods and wrap small gifts in traditional, colorful bojagi cloth.  Together they host a festive gathering where they introduce all their friends to the celebration of Chuseok and give thanks together.
